This workshop will focus on K-12 expenditures and program details in the final budget, and the deals made among legislators and the Governor regarding key issues such as:

• LCFF grant amounts and targets
• CalSTRS/CalPERS relief for school employers
• Special education funding
• Career Technical Education funding
• Transfer to the Prop 98 reserve
• Charter school reforms
• Early Education/Child Care/After School Programs
• School Facilities

We expect the presentations to be between an hour and an hour and a half to make the best use of everyone’s time.

These workshops are provided at no cost, thanks to coordination with your county office of education, and are provided in collaboration with ACSA, CSBA, SSDA, AALRR, and Climatec.
