With the passage of Prop 51, and the record number of local bonds, many questions arise regarding the allocation, eligibility, and release of these bond dollars. In addition to a current update on the priorities and policy of the State Facilities Program (SFP), our facilities team will provide answers to the following questions using the most up-to-date information available:
- How does my district access state modernization and new construction funds?
- Will the rules change?
- What is the timing for fund release if my district is on either the Unfunded List or Acknowledged List?
- Is there a way to incorporate the latest technology and innovation into school construction projects?
- How do we access the Career Technical Education and Charter School funds?
- How is the backlog of projects at DSA and OPSC being addressed?
- What does my district have to do to maximize funding from the state?
- Are there any new laws or regulations that would affect our current and future programs?
These workshops are prepared and co-presented by Capitol Advisors Group and CISCO. The workshop and materials are provided at no-cost to attendees thanks to our partnership with the county office of education and CISCO.
